An ongoing Legacy of Care for the Donkeys in Memory of Bess set up by her husband David through the ‘David & Bess Wright Turtle Valley Donkey Refuge Fund‘ held at the Vancouver Foundation. David passed on in 2022 but both his and Bess’ Legacy lives on in the annual grant for operations that we receive from the Vancouver Foundation fund that David set up for the future care of the Donkeys. We are so grateful for their legacy of care and their tremendous impact on Donkey and animal welfare in the Okanagan and Interior region of BC.
